Just in case you were thinking, "Surely, the larger public tv and radio stations are capable of taking up the slack created by the by the disintegration of our daily papers?", check out these articles, (instigated by an uncredited Chicago media justice activist involved in this project): Who Rules Public TV? and National Plutocrat Radio. They shed rare light on a certain income group that controls public media boards such as PBS, NPR, WTTW, and WBEZ. Can you guess which income demographic that is?
