Happy holidays! I've been filming, firewiring, non-linear editing, image burning, authoring, encoding, burning, rendering,
uploading and copying. And here it is! IT'S FINALLY DONE!!!
"Iranian Women and the Effects of a Possible War" -- Ms. Golbarg Bashi, visiting scholar, Columbia University, NY
and "The Culture of Imperialism" --
Dr. Hamid Dabashi, chair, Iranian and comparative literature studies, Columbia University, NY.
Dr. Dabashi was the main consultant both for director Ridley Scott's film "Kingdom of Heaven" and for the film "Paradise Now".
These lectures and the discussion that followed were videotaped 11/10/06 at Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois and were co-sponsored by Evanston Neighbors for Peace and the History Department, Northwestern University. (119 min.) Larger screen version available here.
More like this to come - that's a promise!
