Some Independent Media efforts can use your support

Punk Planet, a very cool independent magazine published in Chicago, has alerted us to some problems with its distributor. But there are also things that you can do to help. Check out the link.

There's also a national-scale indpendent news website called The NewStandard, which has broken a number of Chicago-related stories, and which is right now in the midst of a do-or-die fall fundraising drive. Be sure to check it out and, if you can afford it, please consider signing up as a premium member.
