Remotely interesting: With the House Appropriations Subcommittee voting to slash money for children's shows on public television and cut all funding to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting within two years, the local grassroots group Chicago Media Action is asking voters to call U.S. Rep. Jerry Lewis (R-Calif.) and U.S. Rep. Ralph Regula (R-Ohio) - the chairman and vice chairman of the committee, at (202) 225-5861 and -3876 - and demand funding be reinstated...
