Update regarding Chicago's WZRD radio

Posted by Mitchell - September 1, 2005 (entry 352)

For the past week, Chicago's excellent WZRD radio has been off the air as the station resolves some renewal matters with the FCC concerning its broadcast license.

Good news: We have received word that the station has received an extension of its current broadcast authorization status. WZRD will return to the air on Labor Day, September 5. Congratulations, Wizards!

Speaking of radio, be sure to check out the latest issue of Punk Planet magazine, which is all about some very cool radio-related projects underway now in Chicago and elsewhere.
