Two media-themed conferences are slated for the next five days -- one in Urbana, the other in St. Louis.
Regarding St. Louis, CMA will be participating in the Media Democracy Showcase, spearheading one of the action clinics, and partaking in a workshop organized by Democracy Now.
Regarding the Streets of St. Louis (hey, didn't Michael Douglas and Karl Malden star in that?), protest actions against Viacom and promoting Democracy Now are in the offing.
You can follow all of the action as it happens on the Free Press website, with fresh coverage by Media Minutes and the Be The Media Blog.
