I heard this weekend that the Chicago Cable Commission
had a press conference last week and will likely be moving this week (perhaps tomorrow) to assess fines against RCN.
Also, on a more urgent note, word is still that California death row inmate Kevin Cooper is facing a possible execution tonight. The case against Cooper is fraught with holes, including some DNA evidence which could exonerate Cooper. This is certainly of significance to Illinois residents since it was DNA evidence which played a key part in the emptying of Death Row more than a year ago. No matter where you live, please take a moment now to contact the California governor's office (Phone: 916-445-2841, Fax: 916-445-4633
Email:governor@governor.ca.gov).
A man's life could be at stake.
