A Chicago group actively devoted to media issues.

An alert was sent earlier today to CMA's ever-growing mailing list. Here's a list of what's going on:

• The FCC is "secretly" trying to give away the digital spectrum. You can act to stop this here and now.
• There's this conference or something happening in Miami. You can sign a petition.
• A number of people have so far sent emails for CMA's latest campaign.
• CMA will be on the radio show "Live From the Heartland" Saturday, November 22, at 9am on WLUW.
• CMA will be co-presenting Aftermath at the Evanston Public Library at 2pm this Sunday, November 23.
• CAN TV will be presenting two days of coverage of The National Conference on Media Reform.

And in a late-breaking development, CMA has, for the fourth time this year, made an appearance in Danny Schechter's blog.

Whew.

But of course all this pales in comparison to Michael Jackson's arrest warrant. :-/
