Initially Media Democracy Day (MD day) was organized by local Toronto and Vancouver groups of the Campaign for Press and Broadcasting Freedom. In 2009 and 2010 Media Democracy Day events were held in Chicago, sponsored by the Metro Chicago Progressive Media Network (MCPMN). MCPMN has also sponsored a number of Actions and networking events. MCPMN is a working group of Illinois Coalition for Justice, Peace and the Environment (ICJPE).

Interested in planning or in participating in MDD-Chicago? We are looking for your ideas.
