(1) UPDATE REGARDING CAN TV Supporters of Chicago Access Network Television (CAN TV, Chicago's public access cable television network) are encouraged to attend a City of Chicago Committee on Finance Meeting at the City Hall Council Chambers (121 N. LaSalle, 2nd floor) on Friday, June 18, at 10am. This hearing will hold a debate and a vote on the May 5 Stone ordinance, which would improve the funding structure for CAN TV. The presentation will be on Wednesday, June 16, at 7pm, at the University of Illinois-Chicago campus at the College of Medicine West (the corner of Polk and Wolcott), 1853 W. Polk, Room 106.
