ACTION ALERT: To highlight awareness of the FCC's controversial rewrite of media cross-ownership rules, which would worsen media in Chicago and nationwide, CMA announces the 2007 Chicago Media Action Holiday Singalong at the Tribune Tower. Raise awareness with a series of festive politics-and-media themed Christmas Carols.

DATE:  TODAY Friday, December 7 2007
WHEN:  5pm to 6:30pm
WHERE: Outside the Tribune Tower in downtown Chicago (435 N. Michigan).

* Since Tribune Plaza is private property, we will be singing on the sidewalk near the entrance to the building. Please congregate near the large CMA banner. We will have a musical leader playing guitar and we have secured a loud speaker, so we will definitely be heard. The likelihood for rain is low but dress warmly and in tune with the holidays.

* We will have songbooks available, and will also be handing out factsheets as well for passersby.  If you'd like a leg up on the songs we'll use, the songbook is available here:
