October 2005 opportunities for action

Posted by Mitchell - October 27, 2005 (entry 374)

There's going to be a vigil tomorrow, October 28, at Noon at the Chicago FOX affiliate (moving to the Chicago CBS affiliate) on the issue of violence against women on television. Oh, and by the way, this reminds me: if you live in Illinois or Wisconsin, we encourage you to file comments regarding your local TV station.

Other news: CMA will be participating in the District Wide Assembly being convened for the 1st District of Illinois (which has Bobby Rush as its representative).
