Last month, Chicago Media Action organized a Chicago screening of the new Danny Schechter film "WMD: Weapons of Mass Deception".
There's a new campaign surrounding the film -- called "Operation Media Freedom" -- dedicated to organizing additional screenings of the film to new audiences, and honoring those who have already organized successful screenings. Scroll down and you'll note that CMA is listed as a WMD Freedom Fighter (yay!).
In other film matters, CMA also gave a brief presentation of Hijacking Catastrophe when Robert Jensen came to Chicago earlier this summer. The film has gotten a serious boost in publicity upon its (aptly timed) release over the weekend.
